Much research has been carried out on the millions of pounds that are lost annually due to absenteeism. Of this stress has now overtaken the common cold as the number one reason why people are absent from their job. Other reasons for absenteeism can be de-motivation, disempowerment and not feeling valued. Also research has shown that work related stress can be reduced by effective communication between employer and employees and for managers to have good people's skills.
Having a fitter and healthier workforce which includes good levels of physical fitness, good nutritional habits and a positive attitude helps to reduce stress and anxiety which leads to reduce costs, increased profits and higher levels of motivation.
The well being corporate coaching programme I offer includes:

- Weight management, removing barriers to success
- Fitness coaching, bespoke fitness programmes specific to the individuals requirements
- Nutritional coaching including diet plans and healthy eating goals
- Goal setting to achieve well formed outcomes for weight, stress etc.

All of the above can be achieved with 1:1 sessions, small groups and workshops to suit the requirements of individual organisations.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank John Lingley for the well being day that he provided for us here at S three.
It consisted of him providing 1:1 coaching sessions in the areas of fitness training, nutrition, weight management, goal setting and stress management.
The sessions were very well received by our staff and surveys carried out on the effectiveness of the sessions resulted in most of the participants feeling motivated to make changes to their lifestyle.
John also provided an interactive workshop for 12 members of staff on stress management which included coping strategies, self responsibility, flexible thinking, self acceptance and visualisation techniques.
The workshop was also well received and handouts were given with coping strategies for the staff to use if feeling stressed. Also John explained to us how to change our thinking so as to be more effective at how we react to stressful situations when they present themselves.
I would recommend John’s well being workshop day’s to other companies and individuals as I feel that the service provided is of a high professional standard and is very beneficial for the health and well being of employees.
